the license
these terms are between you and mohak bajaj. buying jot gives you a personal license to use the macos app. the price is $29, or $9 for the first 50 buyers. it is a one-time fee. the license does not expire, nothing renews, and there is no subscription.
the license activates on one mac at a time. deactivate in the app before you move it to another mac.
payments and tax
dodo payments is the merchant of record. dodo charges the card, handles applicable taxes, and issues the license key. jot does not store your card. the buy button sends you to dodo's checkout.
acceptable use
use jot for your own notes. do not break the law with it, resell the license, or share a key so someone else can skip paying. do not interfere with the site, the update check, or checkout.
no warranty
jot is provided as it is. to the extent the law allows, there is no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and no promise that a note, a dictation, or an update will be error-free. mohak bajaj is not liable for lost notes, lost profits, or other damages, again to the extent the law allows. some places do not allow a warranty to be excluded. there, this limit applies only as far as it can.
governing law
these terms follow the laws of india. the courts in delhi have jurisdiction. if a consumer law where you live says you cannot waive it, that law still applies.
